Composite Floor Deck
Composite Floor Decks are available in 1-1/2", 2", or 3" Depths.
Gauges for form decks vary from 22 to 16 gauge, 20 & 18 gauges are the most common.
They are typically available in Galvanized (G60 or G90), and can be ordered in Phosphatized / Prime Painted.
Normally used for spans of 4'-10' with slabs of 4"-8" of concrete, and are used to create a composite action between the steel & concrete.
1-1/2” deep composite floor deck panels are primarily used for pouring concrete slabs. The embossments formed into the sides of all composite decks aid in the adhering of your concrete pour, adding strength to your flooring applications. The 20 gauge thickness is in stock, but 22, 18, and 16 gauge material is available. The 1 ½" panel comes in a 36" wide sheet and lengths up to 40′ Long.
2" composite floor deck panels are made in either 24" or 36” panel widths and is used for all concrete slabs. The galvanized finish is in stock in 20 & 18 gauge in a variety of lengths (36” wide). Sheets may be ordered up to 40′ Long.
3" composite floor deck is the deepest and most structurally sound concrete floor panel available. The deep profile allows a deeper and stronger pour of concrete therefore a higher slab depth is necessary, and very thick slabs can be achieved. As with all floor deck panels, the width allows for easy installation using male and female style receptor connections. The galvanized finish is in stock in 18 gauge in a 25’ length (36” wide). Sheets may be ordered up to 40′ Long.
